Prop G - CTE Center
Proposition G: Authorizing PfISD to issue $76,000,000 in bonds for the design and construction of a district-wide Career and Technical Education (CTE) center. The new Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center is scheduled to open in the fall of 2027. This state-of-the-art facility will provide students with invaluable hands-on learning experiences, preparing them for high-demand careers and post-secondary success.
The CTE Center is designed to be a hub for college, industry, and community engagement, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry. With a focus on technical skills, college credit, and industry-valued certifications, our programs will empower students to explore their passions and build a foundation for a successful future.
The CTE Center will also host a Career and College Resource Center to help students with college applications, financial aid, and career planning. Additionally, the CTE Center will house an Industry Certification Testing Lab where students can earn valuable credentials like Certified Vet Assistant, Automotive Service Excellence, Food Manager, and many more.
Flexible classrooms and meeting rooms provide space for industry partners and community events, including after-hours use for community and workforce training.
This new center represents our district's commitment to providing a holistic education that prepares students for all pathways, whether they choose to enter the workforce, enlist in the military, or continue their education. It is all part of the Three E's Promise!
